Goals of the Engineering Department

Idea.  Design.  Create.  Compete.  Inspire

The goal of the Engineering Department is to design, build and program an effective and efficient robot to successfully complete the challenges on the field by using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) principles.

Our Robot . 200+ possible points.

Autonomous- Our robot knocks the correct jewel off the platform using a color sensor regardless of starting position, can place glyph in the Key column of the Crypto box and park in the safe zone. (85 points)

Teleop- Wood laser cut Rotating glyph grabber is capable of grabbing two glyphs at a time and completing the crypto box and gain additional points by completing the pattern. (130 points)

End Game- Robot can balance on Balancing Stone. (20 points) or Place the relic in the far zone (55 pts)
