EngineeringIDEA. DESIGN. CREATE. COMPETE. INSPIREThe primary goal of the Engineering Department is to Design, Build and Program a Competitive Robot that is Effective and Efficient on the field and is capable of consistently completing missions in autonomous, driver controlled and end game sections of the competition,
in every match, Additionally, In furtherance of our mission and vision statements, the Engineering Department also plans to build mini-bots to use at community service and outreach events. Through hands on interactive community participation, our objective is to demonstrate how fun robotics can be with the goal of Inspiring and Engaging others to participate. Community Service &OutreachMOTIVATE. DEMONSTRATE. EDUCATE. INITIATEWe are committed to being actively involved in the community in order to Inspire and Engage Everyone Everywhere including kids, females, minorities and others with different abilities to get involved in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) through participation in robotics.
As such, we participate in at least one community service and outreach event every month. We look to diversify our team and be living examples of diversity and inclusion, which we hope demonstrates that robotics is a sport that anyone can participate in.
